This one shows Hydra snaking across the sky (as can be seen from latitude 50°S) with Crater just beneath it and a hazy full moon above. Leo is visible just above the horizon towards the West.
The image includes stars of magnitude 10 or brighter, and therefore contains many stars that are not visible to the naked eye and which can only usually be seen through binoculars or a telescope. The
