Part of a series of textured landscapes with lighthouses.

Having created many images using flat geometrical shapes I was keen to play around with textures, gradients and transparency. These rocky landscapes are some of the early results.

Adding a lighthouse allowed me to play around with the effects of transparency a bit more.

This one has a starry sky. The stars in this image are completely random, but more recently I've been using astronomical data to generate more realistic starry skies. You can see some of those starting with this image of the constellation Pegasus.
